Summary

A world-leading engineering company like the NCC needs a world-leading project management team to keep the cogs turning!

The NCC is moving into a new sector, and you'll have responsibility for one of our large initial projects in this new sector to set up our new facilities and support business change activities with our clients.

You'll also support transformational change at the NCC. This is an exciting project to be involved in, as you'll see it from start to finish.

Using established project management processes, you'll work with operations and other NCC project delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Specifically, you'll focus on:

• Supporting the successful execution of projects through all phases of the project lifecycle: initiation, requirements capture, planning, execution, and closure.
• Ensuring all project management processes are followed, including risk mitigation, change control, documentation, reporting, and project planning.
• Supporting weekly and monthly project review meetings to ensure project delivery goals are met.
• Ensuring all project team members have visibility of project booking codes and accurately log hours.
• Adhering to NCC quality, health, and safety standards, and promoting a positive H&S culture.
• Maintaining up-to-date project plans for all live and pipeline projects.
• Ensuring project plans are correctly resourced for capacity planning.

What we are looking for in your application:

Priority will be given to candidates with backgrounds in defence, facilities, manufacturing, or R&D. Relevant experience should include:

• DV Security Clearance (SC as a minimum).
• Experience as an established Project Manager.
• Experience managing projects in facilities, manufacturing, or construction.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Planning experience with MS Project.
• Risk, issue, assumption, dependency, and budget management skills.

Personal qualities include effective communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
