Job description

Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a client who is growing extremely fast in the industry. The role is a full time position, a very exciting role with lots of room to grow within a business.

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage organization of key fabric projects in both the public and private sectors, which will include refurbishment, fit-out or building works in existing buildings. You will report directly to the Operations Director.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources as well as third party suppliers and contractors for the flawless execution of projects (handling 2 to 3 key projects at any one time)
  
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  
• Developing project scopes, program and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
  
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and oversee all trades
  
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  
• Report and escalate to management as needed
  
• Manage the relationship with all parties
  
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
  
• Establish and maintain relationships with all project parties
  
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements

• Proven track record in construction, fit out, refurb and building project management with either SMSTS or SSSTS
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience
• Proficient in RAMS/CPHSP
• A hands-on, can-do attitude with initiative to work well individually and in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with all project parties
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft office packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and working knowledge of project management software
• Clean driving licence and DBS check
