Job summary

AndersElite is seeking a client-side Project Manager for civil engineering projects across the North-East. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week on site/office, delivering projects from £5m to £50m+ in value over up to 5 years.

Qualifications

• Consultancy-based Project Management experience within the civil engineering / construction industry.
• Full lifecycle understanding from feasibility through delivery and handover.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of contracts, procurement, project controls, and construction delivery.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to project challenges.
• Experience producing high-quality reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Strong digital and IT skills.

Responsibilities

Essential Experience & Skills

• Consultancy-based Project Management experience within the civil engineering / construction industry

Desirable

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
• Chartered status, or actively working towards professional accreditation
• Experience working within both public and private sector environments
• Familiarity with project management best-practice methodologies and frameworks
