Do you have experience in planning manufacturing methods within a machining or fabrication environment, managing projects from the customers brief through to delivery on time and within budget?

If so then please read on!

The basics:

Role: Project Manager - machining and fabrication

Salary: Up to £50000

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7:30am-4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-2pm

Contracted hours: 40 per week

Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.

Overview:

We now require an additional Project Manager to join the team. Working in modern purpose-built manufacturing facilities for a company that manufacture precision engineered components.

You will be working in a first-class precision engineering environment that have processes such as machining, fabrication and a number of out sourced processes also.

As the Project Manager you will be working in a technical role managing projects for the customer from start to finish, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.

You will create manufacturing route cards to ensure the best methods to manufacture liaising with internal departments whilst also managing any external resources required for the project.

The ideal candidate Project Manager may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

1. Qualified to HNC level.

2. Knowledge of processes such as - machining and/or fabrication.

3. Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.

4. Competence in Office particularly Excel, Word and Project.

5. Good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems

6. Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications and break out the details and processes required for each operation required for manufacture.

7. Capable of working un-supervised and using own initiative.

9. Good eye for detail with a methodical approach to the task in hand.

Commutable from, Alfreton, Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
