Job summary

Comxps Ltd seeks an experienced Project Manager for a 18-month, on-site role in Dungeness within a highly regulated nuclear/engineering environment. The successful candidate will lead complex construction programmes valued at £10m+, ensuring governance, safety, and timely delivery in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

You should have extensive nuclear industry experience, matrix management skills, and a proactive, decision-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a highly regulated industry including engineering/procurement/construction management.
• Familiarity with PD25 Nuclear/Client Project Management processes and procedures.
• 10+ years’ project management experience in nuclear/highly regulated environments.
• Delivery of large construction projects through full lifecycle (£10m+).

Job description

Location: Dungeness – full time on site, 4 day week. (NO REMOTE WORKING)

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 18 months
Clearance: BPSS

Essential

• Demonstrable experience in a highly regulated industry including; engineering, procurement, construction/construction management
• Experience of performing functional tasks on projects with a basic understanding of PD25 Nuclear/Client Project Management process and procedures
• Project Management experience within nuclear/highly regulated industry, ideally 10+ years’
• Experience of delivering large construction projects – full lifecycle, from concept to operation (£10m+)

• Experience of working in complex organisations (Matrix Management).
• Flexible and adaptable approach, willing to take on new work challenges
• Ability to maintain high standards of performance with responsibility and accountability for successfully completing own assignments and tasks
• Proactive communicator both internally and externally to the project
