NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a hybrid role in Wolverhampton. You’ll manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects in the nuclear sector and own contract handling from scope to delivery.

Key requirements include NEC3/NEC4 contract experience, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to lead a project team ensuring safe, compliant delivery within budget and schedule. Excellent stakeholder management is essential.

• Manage allocated projects up to £2m, delivering on time, within budget and to customer requirements
• Set project strategy, scope, budget, schedules, resources and technical content
• Maintain cost forecasts and progress against budgets and milestones
• Identify risks and plan mitigation actions
• Apply change control and negotiate contract variations through to agreement
• Utilise commercial awareness in scope discussions with customers, including potential claims
• Coordinate and lead the project team
• Build customer relationships and support new business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and company standards

Project Manager

Location - Wolverhampton (Hybrid)

Are you a Project Manager with experience delivering multi-disciplinary engineering projects?

Do you have working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts?

Would you like to take ownership of projects within the nuclear sector?

What will you be doing?

• Managing allocated projects of up to £2m so they finish within budget, on programme and to the customer's requirements
• Setting project strategy, scope, budget, timescales, resource and technical content
• Keeping cost forecasts and progress tracking accurate against budgets and milestones
• Identifying project risks and planning how to reduce them
• Applying change control and negotiating contract variations through to agreement
• Using your commercial awareness in scope discussions with customers, including potential claims
• Coordinating and leading the project team
• Building customer relationships and supporting new business opportunities
• Making sure all work meets health, safety and environmental legislation and company standards

Where you'll be doing it?

You’ll join an established engineering business that delivers complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the nuclear sector. Based in Wolverhampton, you’ll report to the Programme Manager and work within a structured Projects Department, where quality, compliance and safety come first.

What you’ll need:

• Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects of up to £2m in nuclear, petrochemical, transport, aerospace or a similar industry
• NEC3/NEC4 contract experience, ideally Options C and E but flexible
• A full understanding of the project lifecycle
• A good understanding of requirements, scope and change management
• Experience in risk management and mitigation planning
• Strong commercial awareness
• The ability to lead, organise and develop a team
