Job summary

Circle Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a government contract in Bristol. The role is 2-3 days office-based with the remainder remote, and is focused on delivering the Supply Chain Resilience project.

We are seeking a Project Manager for our Government client based in Bristol. This role will be office based 2-3 days per week and the remainder remote.

The Project Manager role will be an initial 5 month contract paying between £550 - £650/Day Inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:

• This is an opportunity to support their Supply Chain Resilience Strategy and Measurement delivery as a Project Manager with business change experience.
• The project will establish the core products needed to define, measure and improve Defence supply chain resilience, moving from reactive risk management towards a more resilient "just in case" posture.
• You will manage delivery activity across the Risk and Resilience project work, including development of an agreed resilience definition, academically supported metrics, scenario testing, commercial policy gap analysis, adoption planning, behavioural change
  narrative, implementation roadmap and handover products
• Managing the day-to-day delivery of the Risk and Resilience project work, ensuring that scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, actions, decisions and reporting are actively controlled.
• The role will work with the Senior Business Owner, Business Lead, academic partner, policy SMEs and wider Defence stakeholders to coordinate delivery of the project's outputs
  and support adoption into future supply chain resilience activity.
• The role requires strong project management discipline, with practical experience of business change projects or programmes where recommendations must be translated into ownership, implementation planning and operational adoption.
• Develop, maintain and control the integrated project plan for the Supply Chain Resilience Action Plan, covering mobilisation, resilience definition, academic metrics development, scenario testing, policy gap analysis, adoption planning, roadmap development, handover and closeout.
• Own and maintain core project controls, including RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, dependency maps, milestone plans, delivery schedules and governance reporting
• Coordinate delivery of the agreed project outputs, including the resilience definition, metrics and measurement method, scenario findings, policy and clause gap analysis, adoption and reporting plan, behavioural change narrative, implementation roadmap and handover pack
• Experience working as a Project Manager in a complex business change, transformation, policy, commercial or programme environment.
• Practical experience of planning, controlling and delivering projects through the project lifecycle, from mobilisation and initiation through to implementation planning, transition or handover.
• Experience managing project controls, including plans, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, actions, decisions and governance reporting.
• Experience supporting business change activity, including stakeholder readiness, adoption planning, benefits, communications, transition planning or embedding new ways of working.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, subject matter experts, suppliers, academic partners or workstreams to deliver agreed outputs and outcomes
• Formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM or equivalent practical experience.
