Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Project Manager in Warrington to lead mechanical engineering projects within the Nuclear sector, focusing on decommissioning and maintenance programs. This role sits in the Technical Services & Consulting arm, offering hybrid work.

You will develop design packages, support the principal engineer, and ensure CDM compliance while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Understand the roles and specifications of CDM.
Experience producing design packages for manufacture and installation.
Familiarity with applicable engineering practices and guides.

Responsibilities

Develop tools to support retrievals/operations of MSSS SEP machines.
Support the principal engineer on project delivery.
Produce non-functional requirements and related documentation.

Principal Accountabilities

A senior Mechanical Engineer is required to develop tools to support early retrievals/ operations of the MSSS SEP machines. The role will also include support to the principal engineer. This role requires an innovative individual with experience within this field.

Typical deliverables include but are not limited to:

Production of NFR's
Production of OIMS

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Understand the roles and specifications of CDM
Experience producing design packages, suitable for manufacture and installation, containing drawings, method statements, risks assessments
Familiarity and experience of working and complying with applicable 5t practices, standards, and engineering guides
HNC/ HND/ Scientific or Engineering Degree
Highly desirable: experience of working in decommissioning legacy facilities, materials, and contaminated hazards
