Job Title: Project Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions (Contract)

Location: Remote with occasional travel to the North West

Contract Duration: 6 months

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our small PMO team on a contract basis for six months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities, focusing primarily on the Due Diligence stage. This is a remote position with some travel required to the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the Due Diligence process for M&A projects.
  2. Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
  3. Engage and manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  4. Coordinate resource planning and allocation to meet project objectives.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of M&A activities.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in M&A or related fields.
  2. Strong understanding of the Due Diligence process in M&A.
  3. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage resources and plan effectively.
  5. Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional travel to the North West.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Familiarity with PMO processes and best practices.
