Job summary

ECS Engineering Services Ltd, part of the NG Bailey Group, is seeking a project delivery professional to oversee engineering projects from mobilisation to handover. You will coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning and testing, while ensuring compliance with programme, budget and company standards.

Applicants should have 5+ years delivering infrastructure projects, strong NEC knowledge, and a track record in safety compliance and multidisciplinary team leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent plus professional certification preferred.
• Experience in delivering engineering or infrastructure projects is essential.
• NEC contracts knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, specification and company standards.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, identifying critical paths, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing and handover activities.
• Maintain project documentation, governance requirements, reporting processes and close-out records.
• Lead mobilisation, subcontractor engagement, snagging, handover and lessons learned activities.
• Resolve technical, operational and commercial issues to maintain project performance.
• Drive timely resolution of technical, operational and commercial issues to maintain programme and project performance.

Skills & Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Full valid UK Driving Licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Project Management Software.
• PRINCE2 or APM Project Management Qualification.
• SMSTS.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
• Experience within water, utilities or industrial engineering sectors.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering engineering or infrastructure projects.
