Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong civils and infrastructure background looking to take ownership of a complex data centre project?
My client is a specialist design, construction and engineering contractor delivering technically complex projects across the data, defence and energy sectors.
They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for a significant infrastructure package supporting the development of a major data centre campus in Wiltshire.
This is a substantial and technically challenging scope involving the design and delivery of the below-ground infrastructure required to support multiple data halls and associated facilities.
The works include:
You'll take overall responsibility for the safe, compliant, profitable and timely delivery of the project, managing it across programme, commercial performance, quality, design coordination and stakeholder management through to successful completion and handover.
You'll lead the project team, manage subcontractor and procurement activities, monitor programme performance and recovery measures, and work closely with the commercial team on budgets, forecasting, cash flow, change control and project profitability.
The project also requires significant coordination with design consultants, utility providers, the client and supply chain, so you'll need to be comfortable managing both the technical detail and the wider commercial and stakeholder relationships.
Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly complex infrastructure environments would be particularly valuable.
£70,000 - £85,000 salary, depending on experience, plus:
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a technically complex infrastructure package within a specialist contractor delivering some of the UK's most demanding construction projects.
