Bimplus is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver marine civil engineering projects across ports, harbours, coastal and riverside infrastructure in the UK. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage programmes and budgets, and ensure high standards of safety and quality.
The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least five years of UK marine project delivery, with NEC contract experience and a valid UK driving licence.

As a Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of marine civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards whilst maintaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline and will hold a minimum of five years' experience delivering civil engineering projects within the UK marine environment.
As a Project Manager, you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing marine infrastructure schemes, including projects such as quays, jetties, coastal defence works, river engineering, marine piling, harbour infrastructure and marine refurbishment works.
A strong technical understanding of UK marine construction methodologies, industry regulations and best practice is essential, together with experience of administering NEC contracts and managing the commercial and operational aspects of project delivery.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you will need to travel to projects and you must reside within a reasonable distance from the office near Rochester, Kent.
You must be able to demonstrate a stable employment history, reflecting a commitment to long-term career development and successful project delivery within recognised civil engineering or marine contracting organisations.
For this permanent opportunity, a competitive salary will be offered however the specific salary has been left negotiable as this will depend on previous experience and suitability.
In addition to this, a benefits package will be available which includes a company van or car allowance (£5,000), 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays and enrolment on to the company pension scheme.
Lastly, this role is offering an element of hybrid working (1 day working from home).
