Job summary

Rivencore Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the PMO and deliver exciting defence projects across our portfolio. You will take projects from early planning through successful delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget results and the right quality standards.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, commercial and business development teams, building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, while supporting bids, defining scope, costs and risks.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects from planning through to delivery.
• Knowledge of project planning, risk management and project controls.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and project costs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
• Willingness to improve processes and ways of working.
• defence, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or regulated industry experience is advantageous.
• PM qualifications (PRINCE2/APM PMQ/PMP) are beneficial.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our PMO and help deliver exciting projects across our defence portfolio.

What will you be doing?

You’ll take projects from the early planning stage through to successful delivery. You’ll help make sure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the right quality standards .

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Planning and managing projects from start to finish.
• Managing scope, budgets, schedules, risks and resources.
• Working with engineering, manufacturing, commercial and business development teams.
• Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Supporting bids and contract negotiations by helping define scope, deliverables, costs, resources and risks.
• Tracking project progress and producing clear reports for customers and internal teams.
• Identifying risks and issues early and putting plans in place to manage them.
• Making sure projects follow company processes, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Improving project processes, tools and reporting.
• Keeping teams focused on priorities and successful delivery.

Are you the person we're looking for?

You’ll be organised, confident and comfortable taking ownership.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience managing projects from planning through to completion.
• Good knowledge of project planning, risk management and project controls.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and project costs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
• A practical and positive approach to solving problems.
• A willingness to improve how things are done.

Experience in defence, aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or another regulated industry would be an advantage.

A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ or PMP would be beneficial, but we are also interested in people whose experience demonstrates the right skills and approach.
