Job summary

Place North West is seeking an in-house Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of expanding commercial and mixed-use properties, spanning the Northwest and Yorkshire regions. The role focuses on maintaining facilities, ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met, and delivering effective service charge management.

You will lead contractor relations, budgeting, compliance, reporting and occupier management, with a strong emphasis on heritage building

Qualifications

• Facilities Management experience, minimum 5 years.
• IOSH or NEBOSH essential.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Risk Management, and Compliance.
• Knowledge of ESG Requirements, Green Building Certifications, NABERS, BREEAM etc
• Experience of service charge budgets, financial management, and contractor relations
• Organisational and interpersonal communication skills
• High levels of attention to detail with M&E knowledge
• Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work under minimal supervision with tight deadlines
• Experience in managing heritage and mixed-use properties is a strong advantage
• Project Management experience ideal

The company has particular expertise in restoring and sustainably developing heritage buildings, with an expanding commercial portfolio that currently extends across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.

Role Description:

A Senior Facilities Manager is required to manage the day-to-day operations of an expanding commercial and mixed-use property protfolio, located across the Northwest and Yorkshire regions, to ensure that they are not only well-maintained but also compliant with health & safety and environmental standards.
