The Organisation

Our client is a faith-based charity. They seek to positively impact the lives of all members of society. One of their projects supports survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and exploitation. They are now looking for a Project Manager to join them on a part-time basis, working 14 hours per week, ideally over two days, for a two-year fixed-term contract. Please note, they currently have funding for this role for two years; however, they will be seeking to extend this indefinitely.

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will support our client’s project by delivering training, creating resources and enabling peer-support networks. Specifically, you will work with clergy, parishes and professionals to promote trauma-informed practices and safe spaces. Delivering engaging training sessions both in-person and online, you will also create and maintain resources including signposting toolkits, equipping people across the organisation and the community with the skills and support they need to help those most in need. Additionally, you will:

  • Manage an Administrator
  • Collect and report impact data using Salesforce
  • Collaborate with fundraising, communications, and national networks
About You

To be considered as the Project Manager, you will need:

  • Experience in the VAWG sector and trauma-informed practice
  • Proven experience delivering training in professional or community settings
  • Experience managing staff or volunteers
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Respect for diversity and a commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming environments
  • A recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy
