Job summary

We Are Footprint in Leeds is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major £40m refurbishment for a Tier 1 contractor. The project covers a full façade and building envelope, roof upgrades, major M&E replacement, internal fit-out, and Grade A office space for a live/occupied site with high sustainability targets.

You will coordinate subcontractors, consultants and client teams, and ensure the programme, budget and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1/main contractor.
• Experience delivering projects worth £20m+.
• Strong refurbishment, commercial fit-out background.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Solid programme, commercial and health & safety knowledge.
• Experience working in complex live/occupied environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from planning through to handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery in a live environment.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and client teams to align on progress, risks and scope changes.
• Maintain and report progress against the project programme, budget, quality and safety targets.

PROJECT MANAGER - TIER 1 MAIN CONTRACTOR
Leeds | £40m+ Major Refurbishment
I'm currently working with a Tier 1 main contractor who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a major £40m project in the heart of Leeds.
The project involves the full refurbishment and transformation of a commercial building, including:
* Full new external façade & building envelope
* New roof
* Major M&E replacement
* Internal fit-out
* Grade A office space
* BREEAM Excellent / high sustainability targets
* Working alongside a major public-sector client
What I'm looking for:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 1/main contractor
* Experience delivering £20m+ projects
* Strong refurbishment / commercial / fit-out background
* Confident managing subcontractors, consultants and client teams
* Strong programme, commercial and health & safety knowledge
* Ideally experience working on complex live/occupied environments
