Escape is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to join its Ayrshire project delivery team. You will manage mechanical and pipework projects from tender through to handover, review enquiries, support tender submissions, clarify scope with clients, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers while overseeing technical, commercial and programme delivery.

Projects range from small works to multi-million installations in regulated environments, with a hands-on mix of management,

Qualifications

• HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in mechanical services, pipework or industrial engineering projects.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and CAD drawings.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

A well-established Ayrshire engineering contractor operating across a range of industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to join its project delivery team.

The role will involve managing mechanical and pipework projects from initial tender stage through to final handover. You will be responsible for reviewing enquiries, supporting tender submissions, clarifying project scope with clients, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing all technical, commercial and programme aspects of delivery.

Projects typically range from small works through to multi-million pound installations within regulated industrial environments. The position offers a hands-on mix of project management, engineering input and client liaison, working closely with internal fabrication, site and commercial teams.
