Job summary

Coinford is seeking a Project Manager to lead operations in Sittingbourne. You will oversee engineers, foremen, labour and plant, ensuring timely material delivery and adherence to HSE and QA standards on site.

You will coordinate with clients, estimators and surveyors to plan effectively and report progress to a high standard. The role requires coordinating with CM and QS to follow forecasts for labour and plant, developing work programmes and strategies to prevent problems, and managing

• Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
• CITB 5-Day SMSTS.
• First Aid at Work Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of engineers, foremen, labour and plant.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and plant for works to commence.
• Implement HSE and QA procedures and perform site safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with relevant specifications.
• Report progress and maintain project, checkpoint and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work starts.
• Develop the programme of work and strategy to prevent site issues, plan delivery and storage of materials.
• Work with clients and build long-term cordial relationships.
• Coordinate with CM and QS to follow forecast for labour and plant.
• Manage all facets of temporary works across the project.

Essential Role Requirements

• Ensuring the day-to-day operations of Engineers, Foremen, labour, and plant are properly managed
• Ensuring the correct material and plant arrive in good time for works to commence
• Implementing the Company Health & Safety Management Systems and Procedures and Quality Assurance Procedures including making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment (HSE) are adhered to
• Ensure we are working to relevant specifications
• Report progress on projects, maintain and update project reporting, checkpoints, and financial reporting to a high standard
• Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work starts
• Developing the programme of work and strategy for the project, planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of materials
• Working closely with the clients as a team and building long term cordial relationships
• Working closely with CM and QS to ensure forecast is followed in regard to labour and plant
• Management of all facets of temporary works across the project
