Location: Harlow, Essex, UK
Salary: Up to GBP85,000 + Travel Allowance + Performance Bonus

About the Company

Our client is a well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality industrial warehouse new build projects, typically ranging up to GBP25 million in value. Known for their commitment to excellence and strong project delivery, they have built a solid reputation across the industrial and logistics construction sector.

With over GBP170 million worth of secured projects kicking off in 2025, the company is entering a significant growth phase and is looking to strengthen their project delivery team.

The Opportunity

They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on a newly awarded GBP15 million industrial warehouse new build in the Essex area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business at a key time and to take full ownership of a flagship project from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a GBP15M industrial warehouse project, ensuring completion on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from site setup and programme planning to client handover

• Coordinate and oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

• Work closely with commercial, design and planning teams to ensure alignment across all phases

• Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships

• Ensure all health & safety, compliance and quality control standards are met

• Regularly report on progress, risks and key project metrics to senior leadership

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Project Manager for a main contractor
2. Strong track record of delivering industrial or warehouse new build projects
3. Experience managing projects of GBP10M+ in value
4. Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and drive project performance
5. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
6. SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid qualified
