Are you a commercially focused Project Manager looking to work across high-impact infrastructure and construction projects?

Our client, a prestigious Construction Company based in Park Royal, London, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to deliver financial oversight, contract administration, and commercial leadership across their expanding portfolio.

Project Management Duties

• Lead and manage multiple construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion
• Develop project timelines and ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and technical specialists
• Conduct site visits and progress reviews across various project locations
• Ensure projects adhere to health & safety regulations and industry-specific quality standards
• Provide regular updates to clients and company stakeholders
• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans for proposed works
• Conduct tendering and review of contractor bids
• Evaluate and process subcontractor applications and variations
• Maintain financial control of live projects across multiple sectors

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a combined or similar role (PM or QS)
• Experience working on construction, infrastructure, utilities, groundworks, or railway projects
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and contract administration
• High attention to detail and budget control
• Proficiency with estimating tools and project management software
• Excellent time management and stakeholder communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., CIOB, RICS, APM) is highly desirable
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites across various UK locations
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field

Engagement Terms:

• Status: Independent contractor (not an employee)
• Working Hours: Typically Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (flexible by project)
• Payment: Monthly in arrears, upon receipt of approved invoice and timesheet
• Location: Hybrid working from our office, home, and project sites
• Mileage Reimbursement: £0.45/mile for business travel with submitted log
