At WPS we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Facilities Management team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the successful delivery of a diverse range of FM projects across prestigious client portfolios, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing lifecycle replacement works, refurbishment projects, compliance-led upgrades, and minor works programmes while building strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and operational teams.

The Role

Reporting into the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple projects within occupied and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing FM projects from inception through to completion and handover
• Developing project plans, programmes, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
• Leading project teams, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted partner throughout project delivery
• Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures
• Monitoring project performance, managing risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
• Managing project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to achieve profitability targets
• Overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring works meet contractual requirements
• Coordinating with engineering, operational, and commercial teams to deliver seamless outcomes
• Producing project reports and presenting updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting business growth through identification of additional project opportunities within client accounts

What We're Looking For

We're Keen To Speak With Candidates Who Have

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction, or Minor Works environments
• Proven experience delivering projects within live commercial, corporate, retail, healthcare, education, or critical environments
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, financial control, and contract administration
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• A strong understanding of health & safety legislation and CDM regulations
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• The ability to prioritise multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills
• Full UK driving licence

Qualifications

Desirable qualifications include:

• PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent Project Management qualification
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
• HNC/HND or Degree in Construction, Building Services, Engineering, or related discipline
