Job Role

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering one of the UK’s most significant transport hubs — Old Oak Common Station. This is a rare opportunity to join a landmark rail project involving the construction of the high-speed station, the Station Envelope, and a major overbridge spanning the conventional rail station. You’ll be joining a high-performing delivery team responsible for managing complex interfaces, technical packages, and multidisciplinary contractors across a highly visible, nationally critical scheme.

Duties
  • Lead the successful delivery of station-related civils and structural works, including the Station Envelope and overbridge construction.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, design assurance requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Drive progress through proactive problem-solving and collaborative planning with engineering and construction teams.
  • Provide technical and managerial leadership through design, procurement, and construction stages.
  • Manage facade-related packages, including complex glazing systems, ensuring integration with structural and architectural elements.
Person Specification
  • Demonstrable Project Manager experience on major rail, station, or large-scale civil engineering projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of station structures, envelope works, or bridge construction.
  • Experience managing façade packages—ideally with exposure to glazing, curtain walling, or specialist envelope systems.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong commercial and contract management experience (NEC preferred).
  • Proven history of delivering projects safely, on time, and to specification.
