Job summary

Our client, a well-established engineering and fabrication business, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Gloucester. The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience delivering steel or fabrication projects, and the ability to manage projects from initial order through to completion.

Position Details

Permanent Position – Salary: £35,000‑£40,000 (DOE) – Monday to Friday – Gloucester

Job Description

• Manage multiple steel fabrication projects from order through to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Liaise with customers, design, production, and installation teams to coordinate project activities and resolve technical queries
• Monitor project progress, schedules, costs, and resources while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, health & safety, and customer requirements

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Engineering background with experience within the steel fabrication or manufacturing industry
• Previous experience in a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar project delivery role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously
