Millbank Holdings in Glasgow seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead major infrastructure packages through the full lifecycle, from design to handover. You will manage NEC4 contracts, control scope, programme, cost and risk, and coordinate across engineering, construction and stakeholder teams.

The role requires 5+ years in tightly regulated environments, NEC4 ECC / PSC experience, and the ability to obtain SC clearance.

Competenze

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years delivering projects in highly regulated industries.
• Experience delivering engineering, manufacturing, construction or commissioning projects.
• Full lifecycle experience from business case through handover.
• Strong experience in project risk management.

Would you like to play a key role in delivering a long-term, nationally significant infrastructure programme with multi-billion-pound investment and a pipeline of major projects over the coming years?

Do you have 5+ years' experience delivering complex projects as a Project Manager within a highly regulated environment such as defence, nuclear, infrastructure, utilities, oil & gas, rail or similar?

Are you experienced in administering and delivering projects under NEC4 contracts, including change control, risk management, programme and cost management?

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects ranging from civil, structural, mechanical & electrical and marine engineering works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project packages through the full lifecycle, from design and approvals through to construction, commissioning and handover.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Lead the successful delivery of assigned project work packages from initiation through to handover.
• Manage projects in accordance with NEC4 contract requirements.
• Maintain responsibility for project scope, programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, construction and stakeholder teams.
• Monitor and control project performance against agreed objectives and milestones.
• Manage project risks, issues and change control processes.
• Support procurement, contract administration and commercial activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, risks and performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with required standards and governance processes.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

• Degree qualified in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering projects as a Project Manager within a highly regulated industry.
• Experience delivering engineering, manufacturing, construction or commissioning projects.
• Full project lifecycle experience from business case approval through design, execution and handover.
• Strong experience of project risk management.
• Experience managing change control processes.
• NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager, or willingness to achieve accreditation within the first 6 months.
• Minimum 3 years' experience administering NEC4 ECC contracts.
• Minimum 3 years' experience administering NEC4 PSC contracts.
• Ability to obtain or hold Security Clearance (SC).
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.

It’s great if you also have the following

• SMSTS qualification.
• APM PMQ or equivalent project management qualification.
• Experience working within defence, marine, oil & gas, nuclear, utilities or other highly regulated sectors.
• Experience using CEMAR contract management software.
• Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or capital projects.
• Strong commercial and contract management capability.

The setting for the role

• Based in Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements.
• Typically 3 days on site / office and 2 days working from home.
• Full-time position.
• Security clearance will be required for the successful candidate.
• Working within a complex, highly regulated infrastructure environment delivering major capital projects.
