Job summary

Viasat UK is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead delivery of technical projects from initiation through to close, reporting to the Programme Director. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate delivery, and foster strong customer relationships to drive growth and manage change.

The role requires UK nationality with DV clearance, and onsite presence in Farnborough for at least three days per week, along with strong knowledge of project management methodologies.

Qualifications

• Multiple years experience of project management in a technical environment.
• Qualified to APMP/Prince 2 Practitioner (or equivalent).
• UK national and able to achieve DV clearance.
• Role requires you to be onsite in Farnborough location for a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Strong working knowledge of common project management methodologies.

• Stakeholder management (Internal and External).
• Cross-departmental working.
• Matrix Management of multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Internal Progress Meetings.
• Customer Progress Meetings (Teams and F2F).
• Effort estimating.
• Scheduling.
• Resource management.
• Time management system.
• RAID Identification and Management.
• Change Control.
• Compilation of whitepapers, bids and proposals with content, cost and scheduling information.

As a results driven Project Manager reporting to the Programme Director, you be responsible for delivering projects through their full lifecycle to time, cost and quality. Managing a multi-disciplinary engineering team and co-ordinating a multi-functional delivery team, you will utilise your excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure the team fully understand their outcomes and objectives whilst fostering collaborative relationships to develop customer intimacy to drive growth and manage change
