Job summary

Circet UK in East Kilbride seeks an experienced Project Manager to own end-to-end poling project delivery across the UK. You will drive planning, execution and stakeholder coordination to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget outcomes and high quality standards.

The role requires 3–5+ years of UK telecoms or civil engineering project delivery, a driving licence, and willingness to work on-site with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years delivering complex poling projects in the UK.
• Background in telecoms or civil engineering within the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of poling rollout projects from planning to handover.
• Develop detailed plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources.
• Oversee field ops and some time on site.
• Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Track progress, resolve issues, and maintain logs.
• Ensure Health & Safety and Streetworks compliance.
• Coordinate procurement and commercial duties.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts up to £10M revenue.
• Act as primary liaison with clients and authorities.
• Lead meetings, provide updates, and manage stakeholders.

About the Role:

Circet UK is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of poling projects across the UK. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. You’ll be the driving force behind project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination - helping us deliver best-in-class connectivity infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

• Lead the full lifecycle of poling rollout projects - from planning and mobilisation to delivery and handover
• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources
• Oversee field operations and some time on site will be required
• Manage internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met
• Track project progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain accurate logs
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Streetworks regulations, and company standards
• Coordinate procurement activities and manage project-related commercial responsibilities
• Monitor and control project budgets and forecasts - managing up to £10 million annual revenue
• Act as primary liaison with clients, local authorities, and internal departments (design, operations, commercial)
• Lead project meetings, provide regular updates, and manage stakeholder expectations
• Carry out site inspections, ensure quality control, and conduct regular safety audits
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• 3-5+ years of experience delivering complex poling projects
• Background in telecoms or civil engineering environments in the UK is essential
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexity
• Strong working knowledge of poling processes and best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficient in using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
• A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
