Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Edinburgh.

Reporting directly to our Delivery Lead, you'll join our brand-new AI Hub, a growing team focused on delivering innovative technology solutions and exploring how emerging technologies can create value across our business.

Working closely with programme leaders, senior stakeholders and technical colleagues, you'll contribute to impactful initiatives, gain broad exposure across the organisation and play a key role in the evolution of our technology landscape.

A role you will love

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects that support our systems and associated business processes.

Working within Agile, Hybrid, and occasionally traditional delivery frameworks, you will drive project activities from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring alignment to scope, quality, timelines, and business objectives. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, Product Owners, and third‑party suppliers to ensure projects deliver tangible business value.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver technology change initiatives supporting systems and business processes.

  • Manage project plans, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to maintain delivery momentum and remove impediments.

  • Ensure transparency of project progress, risks, and issues through effective stakeholder communication.

  • Work collaboratively with technical teams, Product Owners, stakeholders, and suppliers.

  • Support Agile delivery ceremonies and hybrid project management practices where appropriate.

  • Ensure projects contribute to wider portfolio objectives and strategic business outcomes.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What will you bring to the role?

You will have proven experience delivering IT projects across the full software development lifecycle and be comfortable working within Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as hybrid delivery models.

You will be an excellent communicator, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences. You will build strong working relationships, proactively share information, and work collaboratively to resolve challenges and deliver successful outcomes.

You will take a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving, identifying root causes and working with teams to implement appropriate solutions without unnecessary complexity.

Other Key Skills And Experience

  • Strong understanding of software development and technology delivery processes.

  • Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.

  • Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.

  • Ability to contribute beyond core project management responsibilities, including supporting analysis, planning, and solution discussions.

  • Comfortable providing constructive challenge and receiving feedback positively.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to maintain delivery momentum under pressure.

  • Confident decision‑maker within agreed project boundaries.

  • Demonstrates a consistent track record of successful project delivery.
