Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Modernisation Project Manager to join the team on a full-time, two-year fixed-term basis. This role is remote, with regular travel.

As the Modernisation Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving and delivering the Campus Modernisation Programme across the UK region.

Reporting directly to the Modernisation Programme Manager, you should demonstrate strong management and leadership skills, with a background in project delivery of high-value, multi-disciplinary CAT A and B fit-outs.

You will integrate all mechanical, electrical, and building services asset data and equipment to drive initiatives from initial concept and design through to operational handover, with responsibility for strategic technical planning and management of critical building assets, lifecycles, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Manage daily tasks ensuring project requirements are met within time, budget, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project records aligned with processes and regulations.
• Monitor spends, provide insights, and manage risks.
• Report on supplier performance and project progress.
• Ensure health and safety compliance throughout projects.
• Manage contractors and consultants as needed.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Technical

• Develop and lead UK Mechanical, Electrical, and building services design specifications.
• Create asset standardisation and lifecycle improvement plans.
• Conduct quality checks on contractor delivery.
• Lead initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and meet ESOS commitments.
