Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Modernisation Project Manager to join the team on a full-time, two-year fixed-term basis. This role is remote with regular travel.

As the Modernisation Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving and delivering the Campus Modernisation Programme across the UK region.

Reporting directly to the Modernisation Programme Manager, you should demonstrate strong management and leadership skills, be qualified, and have a solid background in project delivery of high-value, multi-disciplined CAT A and B fit-outs.

You will integrate all mechanical, electrical, and building services asset data and equipment to oversee initiatives from initial concept and design through to operational handover, with responsibility for strategic technical planning and management of all critical building assets, lifecycles, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Manage daily project tasks ensuring requirements are met within time, budget, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project records aligned with processes, regulations, and quality assurance.
• Monitor costs, risks, and variations, providing insights and reports.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure compliance and safety throughout projects.
• Conduct regular meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and manage contractors and consultants.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Technical

• Develop and lead design specifications for UK mechanical, electrical, and building services.
• Create asset standardization and lifecycle improvement plans to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
• Conduct quality checks on contractor work and promote sustainability initiatives.
