Mechanical Project Manager | £125,000 + bonus + package | South Wales (near Cardiff) | M&E | Permanent | Accommodation Provided if required

If you’re going to take on a major project away from home (or if you live in South Wales), it needs to be worth your while.

This one is.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong mechanical background to take responsibility for the delivery of a major project in South Wales.

It’s a substantial, technically challenging scheme and we need somebody who is comfortable operating at that level – managing teams, driving the programme, dealing with the client and taking genuine ownership of mechanical delivery from start to finish.

You will ideally have delivered large-scale projects within environments such as pharmaceutical, process engineering, chemical manufacturing or data centres, where complex mechanical services and high standards of delivery come with the territory.

The immediate project is scheduled to run until June 2027, but this isn’t being viewed as a one-project appointment. There is a strong pipeline of major projects in London and across Europe behind it and the intention is very much to find somebody who can become a long-term part of the business.

The package reflects the level of the appointment:

£125,000 salary + performance-related bonus + package, with accommodation in South Wales provided.

We are not looking for somebody taking their first step into Project Management. We need an experienced operator who has delivered serious projects, understands complex mechanical services and is comfortable being accountable for the end result.
