Role Purpose:
As our Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of various IT, Transformation, and Change projects. You'll work closely with our Transformation and Change team, ensuring projects are executed smoothly, resources are allocated effectively, and timelines, scope, and budgets are adhered to. Your business knowledge and project management skills will be key in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, all while maintaining best practice project governance and methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success criteria.
- Assist in developing business cases.
- Create, maintain, and report detailed project plans.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate resources.
- Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Oversee day-to-day project deliverables to achieve key milestones and business benefits.
- Engage with stakeholders for requirements and updates.
- Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and maintain transparent communication.
- Act as the central point of contact for project delivery and escalations.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and business needs.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
- Adhere to PMO governance standards and find ways to optimise project management processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP).
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Strong project management skills (planning, execution, risk management).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and good project governance.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player who builds positive relationships.
- Knowledge of risk, change, and resource management.
- Experience with full project lifecycle and successful management of business projects.
- Budget management and control experience.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, senior management, and external vendors.
