Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Birmingham to oversee construction projects from inception to handover. The role requires hands-on leadership, safety leadership, and strong budget control.

Immediate start with a permanent, full-time arrangement and DOE salary. You will coordinate site teams, manage client relationships, monitor performance, and drive successful outcomes across a range of schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of project delivery and construction methodologies.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion.
• Budget management experience and commercial awareness.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects through all phases of delivery.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress against programme and budget requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Manage project costs, variations, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and maintained.
• Support successful project handover and close-out procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

Are you an experienced Project Manager?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Project Manager to join a well-established and growing construction business. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual who can oversee projects from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site teams, managing client relationships, monitoring project performance, and driving successful project outcomes across a variety of construction schemes.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

• Construction-related qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
• SMSTS
• CSCS Manager Card
• First Aid at Work
• Experience across Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, or Residential sectors
