Pertemps Banbury is recruiting a Project Manager for the Aerospace & Defence sector in Oxfordshire. You will own customer projects from initiation to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet timescales, budgets and quality objectives.

The role involves leading customer-facing activities, developing relationships, and supporting bids with commercial and technical considerations. Travel across the EMEA region is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous project management or project coordination experience within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a structured project environment.
• Commercial awareness and experience working toward customer deliverables.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• UK-based location and willingness to travel occasionally across the EMEA region.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a growing organisation operating within the Aerospace & Defence sector. This role offers the chance to work on technically complex, high‑profile customer projects across the EMEA region, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

This position would suit an ambitious Project Manager with experience within a technical, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or related industry environment who is looking to develop their career within a highly specialised and customer‑focused business.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of customer projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against agreed timescales, budgets and quality objectives.

You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating cross‑functional teams and driving successful project outcomes.

About You

Desirable

• Experience within Aerospace, Defence, Space, Electronics, Telecommunications or related sectors
• A technical qualification in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics or a similar discipline
• Knowledge of network communications or complex technical systems
• Project Management certification (PRINCE2, APM, IPMA, PMP or equivalent)
