SSEN Distribution is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team to support the Distribution ED2 price control period. You will oversee upgrades and replacements of electricity network infrastructure, ensure safety, timeliness and budget adherence, and coordinate with design engineers, field staff, contractors, and customers.
This role requires travel and a blend of locations; a driving licence is essential, and a company car policy may apply.
Base Location: Portsmouth, Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading. You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of these locations.
Salary: £64,085 - £76,581 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available.
SSEN is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team in supporting the Distribution ED2 price control period. In this role, you will help deliver projects that enable the transition to Net Zero by overseeing the upgrade and replacement of our electricity network infrastructure.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget —while aligning with the changing needs and expectations of our customers.
This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.
A valid driving licence is essential.
