A leading company in the UK is seeking a Project Management Support Officer to enhance project delivery standards and governance. This role focuses on introducing structure through toolkits and frameworks, ensuring discipline and visibility across projects. Successful candidates will possess PMO experience and a solid understanding of various delivery methodologies, including PRINCE2 and Agile.
We are searching for a Project Management Support Officerto establish and embed project delivery standards and governance across a fast-paced, decentralised organisation.
This role is not about creating a traditional PMO function but about introducing structure – frameworks, toolkits, and controls – to bring discipline and visibility to project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Introduce and embed project governance, toolkits, and delivery standards
- Support project scoping, planning, and delivery alongside the Senior BA
- Drive adoption of delivery frameworks (PRINCE2, P3O, Agile)
- Coordinate cross-functional business change and requirements
- Improve visibility of project status, risks, and resource use
- Experience in a PMO, Project Support, or Project Officer role
- Strong grasp of delivery lifecycles, governance, and change
- Confident engaging technical and non-technical teams
- Familiar with P3O, PRINCE2, or Agile frameworks
