As a Project Management Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the rollout of innovative tech solutions at Virgin Media O2, with a starting salary of £25,000!

About

As an apprentice, you’ll be at the core of bringing technical solutions to life—learning by doing and building skills for your career. You’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Solutions Architects to understand how large-scale technology projects are delivered in a fast-paced environment. This role involves gaining hands-on experience with Agile project management methodologies, from Waterfall to Agile. You will see how big ideas turn into action through iterative delivery. Your day-to-day tasks could include:

• Keeping projects on track: Assisting in managing workflows, project plans, stakeholder communication, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Shaping the roadmap: Helping develop clear, simple project roadmaps, breaking projects into stages, identifying timelines, and highlighting risks.
• Clearing the way: Spotting and resolving issues that could cause delays, raising concerns early, and ensuring teams have what they need to progress.

What is Involved with Studying for an Apprenticeship?

This apprenticeship combines on-the-job learning with academic study, with approximately 20% of your working hours dedicated to coursework with a training provider. You will complete coursework and a final assessment, supported throughout your journey. Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognized qualification.
