Job summary

Sedgwick in Leeds is hiring a Project Managed Claims Coordinator to own and progress large claims from first notification to settlement. You’ll act as the claim owner, coordinating with suppliers and contractors to identify the best solution for customers.

You’ll work with cutting-edge digital tools, access customer properties on-site when needed, and focus on delivering exceptional customer experience while controlling costs and ensuring high technical standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing claims across multiple clients.
  • Excellent communication with policyholders, insurers, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • CILA qualification is advantageous but not essential.

  • Act as the single point of contact for customers and manage claims end-to-end.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and stakeholders to resolve claims.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Agriculture and Rural Network (ARN) team as a Project Managed Claims Coordinator in our Leeds office.

As a Project Managed Claims Coordinator in our ARN team, you will manage a portfolio of large claims from the first notification of loss through to settlement. You will have the autonomy to act as the claim owner and decision maker, working alongside suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to identify the best solution to support the customer and resolve their claim.

As an industry leader in innovating digital solutions, you will have access to a variety of technologies to support you and enhance the customer journey. Access to the latest video technology will provide you with the opportunity to access customer properties and liaise with suppliers on-site where appropriate during the claims process.

Your key responsibilities will include acting as the single contact point for customers, providing a first class service. You will also be responsible for liaising and suppliers, managing claims, information, and supplier projects, and controlling all costs and payments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest technical quality, always with customer experience in mind. You will be an excellent communicator, self-motivated, and disciplined. Flexibility and willingness to embrace change are essential, along with an enthusiasm for industry-leading technology.

The skills you will have when you apply:
  • Experience in managing claims across multiple clients: Previous experience in a claims environment is essential. This can be from any type of insurance property claims as long as you have managed the claim from cradle to grave.
  • Excellent communication skills: You will interact with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements for all parties involved
  • Excellent customer service is a must
  • Qualifications: Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification is an advantage but not essential.
