Job summary

Onsite Central Ltd in Worcester is seeking a Project Lead to drive delivery of EDM, IPM, SLM, and Metasphere projects in Worcester. You will lead teams, coordinate resources, and ensure objectives meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and operational management of EDM, IPM, SLM, and Metasphere project activities.
  • Coordinate field teams and resources to meet project objectives and service delivery requirements.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and prioritisation of installation, maintenance, and monitoring programmes.
  • Monitor progress, identify constraints, and implement solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and HSE policies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support audit/compliance activities.
  • Oversee collection, validation, and reporting of project and asset performance data.
  • Provide operational updates, performance analysis, and action plans to stakeholders and clients.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client representatives and foster strong relationships.
  • Manage stock, equipment, and project resources to optimise utilisation and minimise waste.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Maintain training compliance and support onboarding of new team members.

Through strong leadership, attention to detail, customer focus, and operational excellence, they support the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality services across Yorkshire Water and Northumbrian Water Metasphere programmes.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning. Onsite is part of the South Staffordshire Group - a 3,000-strong organization behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses - offering long-term development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery and operational management of EDM, IPM, SLM, and Metasphere project activities.
  • Coordinate field teams and resources to ensure project objectives, performance targets, and service delivery requirements are achieved.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and prioritization of installation, maintenance, and monitoring programmes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify operational constraints, and implement solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, internal quality procedures, and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, quality records, and support audit and compliance activities.

  • Provide operational updates, performance analysis, and action plans to internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Maintain training compliance, support onboarding of new team members, and encourage adherence to best practices and operational standards.
What You'll Need:
Essential Skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of all hardware systems and products (HWM, VEGA, NIVUS, METASPHERE etc.)
  • Experience working within all water authority frameworks.
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS.
  • Water industry experience.
  • Project management qualifications.
