Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Information Manager to oversee the Information Management function for the High Marnham Substation project, ensuring information systems and processes meet high standards for delivery.

You will lead the IM team, define standards, manage EDMS (Asite) access, coordinate reporting, and deliver training while supporting digital tools such as SharePoint and Field View on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience managing processes and resources.
• Knowledge of construction environments and project lifecycles.
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience with collaboration/EDM systems, ideally Asite.
• Understanding of ISO19650/PAS1192 and digital handover processes.
• Ability to lead, support, and develop team members.
• Be organised, structured, and focused.
• Confident leading others and communicating at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Information Management team and define team roles.
• Set and communicate project Information Standards and Methods & Procedures.
• Oversee the EDMS (e.g., Asite) and ensure secure, appropriate access.
• Coordinate project reporting and support digital tools, including Field View.
• Deliver training to project teams on information management systems.
• Support digital processes using SharePoint, Teams, and mobile platforms.
• Manage quality procedures and oversee project archiving throughout the lifecycle.
