Job summary

NRL Group is seeking a Project HSE Manager to lead the development, management and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System across the EPIC lifecycle. You will plan and coordinate HSE personnel in design and site environments, and set criteria for project HSE plans and analyses.

You will report to the QHSE Manager and Project Director, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a strong safety culture across engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an HSE Manager.
• Minimum 10 years' experience within HSE roles.
• Experience working to IOGP standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective development, management, and continuous improvement of the Project HSE Management System throughout all EPIC phases, in line with client requirements, IOGP guidance, and ISO standards.
• Act as the HSE focal point for the project and manage all project-related HSE matters.
• Interface with clients and administer the HSE requirements of the contract.
• Develop, lead, and coordinate the project HSE team.
• Provide HSE support and guidance to Project Management.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and relevant UK legislation.
• Interface with and support the environmental management team.
• Lead accident and incident investigations.
• Establish and implement HSE monitoring, inspection, and audit programmes.
• Lead risk management activities including HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessments, and Hazard & Effect Management Processes.
• Manage subcontractor HSE performance and compliance.
• Facilitate periodic project HSE reviews and ensure completion of project HSE close-out reports.
