Job summary

FS Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Project Installation Fire and Security Engineer for the Leeds area. You will install and commission fire alarm, intruder, CCTV and access control systems, with both 1st and 2nd fix work, and you will work both independently and as part of a team.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and a proven track record in fire and security installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience within the fire and security industry.
• Must be able to commission fire alarm systems.
• Strong installation background across fire and security systems.
• Ability to carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation works across fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Installation Fire and Security Engineer to join their growing team based in West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background across fire and security systems to join a reputable company that truly invests in its employees and offers genuine long-term career progression.

The Role

As a Project Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out installation works across a range of systems including:

• Fire Alarm Systems
• Intruder Alarms
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems

The successful candidate must be confident carrying out both 1st and 2nd fix installations across these systems and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience within the fire and security industry
• Must be able to commission fire alarm systems
• Strong installation background across fire and security systems
• Ability to carry out 1st and 2nd fix installations
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• FIA or BAFE qualifications desirable but not essential
