Job summary

Extension Recruitment is seeking a Fire and Security Installation Engineer for a field-based role based from Stockton-on-Tees, covering sites across the North East. You will install, commission, test and fault-find fire and security systems in commercial and industrial environments.

As an experienced engineer, you will ensure projects are completed safely, to high standards, with accurate documentation and excellent customer service. A Full UK driving licence is required.

• Experience as Fire and Security Installation Engineer.
• Knowledge of fire and security systems installation and commissioning.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to customer sites across the North East.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £45,600 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for a Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join a leading organisation operating within the fire and security industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join a growing engineering team, working on a wide range of installation and commissioning projects across commercial and industrial environments.

This is a field-based role with the company headquarters located in Stockton-on-Tees. Travel will be required to customer sites across the North East.

Our client is a well-established business within the Fire & Security sector, delivering high-quality fire detection, CCTV, access control, intruder alarm and associated systems solutions to a diverse customer base.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Fire and Security Installation Engineer to their projects team.

The Role

As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing and fault finding of a variety of fire and security systems. The Fire and Security Installation Engineer will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

• Full UK driving licence.
