M PRO Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team in the Sheffield area. The role mixes PPM servicing, remedial works and reactive fault-finding on fire and security systems across large commercial sites.

You will perform electrical fault-finding, work with traditional and IP-based equipment, and use basic networking know-how while on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire and security engineering.
• Multi-disciplined experience across fire and security systems.
• Strong electrical fundamentals and fault-finding skills.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Ability to work independently on commercial sites.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed.
• Willing to participate in a 1 in 6 on-call rota.

Fire & Security Service Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE

Employment: Full-Time

We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team following recent contract wins.

The role will involve a mixture of PPM servicing, remedial works and reactive fault-finding on fire and security systems, predominantly across large commercial sites.

The Role

• Carry out PPM servicing and maintenance on fire and security systems.
• Complete remedial works identified during PPM visits.
• Attend reactive callouts and diagnose system faults.
• Work confidently on large commercial sites and systems.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Work on both traditional electrical systems and modern IP-based equipment.
