Job summary

Sourced Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Engineer for an established Somerset engineering company. You will manage projects from concept through to installation and commissioning, coordinating customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role is primarily office-based in Somerset with occasional travel to sites, offering competitive salary and potential bonuses, plus ongoing training and career progression in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering engineering projects within water treatment, process engineering or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects from concept to handover.
• Define project scope and produce technical documentation.
• Coordinate designs, manage budgets and schedules.
• Ensure manufacturing, installation and commissioning are delivered.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and manage project risks.
