Job summary

PX Group in Stockton on Tees is recruiting a Project Engineer to deliver defined engineering projects across multiple phases, aligning with scope, schedule and client requirements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage technical interfaces with clients and contractors, identify risks, and ensure health, safety and environmental standards while maintaining thorough project documentation. The role includes on-the-job training and development reviews.

Qualifications

• HNC in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in project engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of leading cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong analytical abilities to resolve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi disciplinary teams to execute engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies to confirm project objectives and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between clients and pxE for project issues.
• Identify and manage technical risks and ensure health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ensure projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements and maintain project documentation.
• Develop and review project proposals and plans to align with business objectives.
• Review project scope, schedules and client specifications and manage deliverables.
• Engage with clients to understand and represent their needs in the field.
• Gather and analyse project data to create status reports and support delivery meetings.
