Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd. seeks a technically-minded Project Engineer to keep complex projects on track from requirements to delivery for mission-critical equipment. You will coordinate activities across a busy product engineering team and help steer development to meet timelines.

The role involves managing documentation, risk, prototypes, and collaboration with technical authorities and third-party providers, offering genuine ownership of project delivery in a technical environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a technical subject and a strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Ability to anticipate challenges and plan strategically to meet long-term objectives.
• Experience in a design engineering role is desirable.
• Embedded software design and programming experience is desirable (C/C++, Python, etc.).
• Knowledge of CAD for mechanical components or FPGA firmware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize project activities to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes.
• Generate and maintain essential project documentation.
• Monitor and report project status with the technical authority.
• Assist in project requirement generation and documentation.
• Schedule activities to align with the product roadmap.
• Identify and document project risks and mitigate them.
• Manage prototypes and ensure equipment availability.
• Organize and lead project review meetings.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects to keep operations running smoothly.
• Build strong relationships with third-party providers for timely coordination.
