Job summary

Procter & Gamble is seeking a Project Engineer at its London area site to develop project scopes and cost estimates, coordinate design and procurement activities, and oversee construction, installation, commissioning and validation of new equipment and installations.

You will ensure projects meet quality and safety standards, comply with regulations, and satisfy operational and business requirements, while coordinating internal teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Extensive on-site engineering experience in design/construction of projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction, installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (AutoCAD, GAs, isometrics, P&IDs, 3D models).
• Experience supervising contractors and managing construction safety and quality.
• Excellent project planning, organization, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage small projects from feasibility through design, construction, commissioning and start-up.
• Provide technical expertise for mechanical scope, including design documentation and procurement support.
• Develop scopes, cost estimates, schedules and execution plans; support larger capital projects.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to meet schedules and material delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across project activities.
