Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical projects in London, from pre-construction through to completion. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery to a high standard.

The role demands strong communication with clients and consultants, rigorous progress monitoring, and a hands‑on approach to resolving issues to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
• Experience delivering commercial mechanical projects.
• Experience in an M&E contractor environment.
• Knowledge of end-to-end project delivery from planning to completion.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving.
• Commercial awareness and organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction/planning through to completion.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Managing procurement and ensuring materials and resources are available when required.
• Working closely with main contractors, clients and consultants.
• Monitoring project programmes, budgets and overall performance.
• Managing quality and ensuring works are completed to the required specification.
• Attending site and project meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identifying and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.
