Job summary

The Collective Network is seeking a project engineer/manager to drive new product introduction projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality standards.

A technical engineering background and the ability to discuss requirements with customers are essential. Northampton-based permanent role offering opportunities to lead initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of working within projects focused positions.
• Manufacturing background.
• Degree within engineering would be highly desirable.
• Confident managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Job description

This is a role working for leading international automotive supplier specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality components and assemblies. They work on a global scale and partner with many high end OEMs / Tier 1 suppliers. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence, safety and quality are at the heart of everything they do.

You will play a key role in the delivery of new product introduction projects, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget.

We need a strong project engineer/manager who is confident managing projects from start through to completion. Also need you to be from a technical background as the projects you will be managing need you to be able to understand the requirements and hold credible conversations with customers.

Key responsibilities:
