Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver capital projects safely, on time and on budget within a manufacturing environment in the East Midlands. The role covers scoping, planning and delivering projects from new machinery to line upgrades.

You will write specifications, manage suppliers and contractors, and track budgets and risks, reporting progress to management. You will oversee installation, commissioning and handover to production, ensuring health, safety and CDM compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years in a project or engineering role in manufacturing.
• Experience managing contractors and equipment installations.
• Good knowledge of machinery safety and CDM.
• Strong planning and communication skills.
